This chapter made me think "what would Marks parents reaction be if they saw him in the pokemon league on TV?!" hm that is an interesting thought. I think that Mark is really weird with his opinion of gyarados. Any normal person would like a pokemon like that, especially if it could speak english! I also wonder what Chaletwo thinks of Mewtwo squared. his fate seems interesting as well…Reply: …any normal person would like a Pokémon that murdered a being you consider pretty much a deity, has creepy powers it shouldn't have and speaks a language it shouldn't speak? I don't think so.

I love floatzel she is now one of my favorite characters! If I may make a little suggestion, I think would be a really cool idea to include a scyther/gallade swordfight type battle during the pokemon league that would be cool

I think the Destroyer might have something to do with The Effect… I know the Destroyer only absorbs the legendary's power, and that it is most likely Articuno, but there could always be some sort of plot twist. Perhaps the Destroyer also drains the power of normal Pokemon, but only those that are close by. That makes somewhat sense in my eyes.. Then again, the Destroyer might be in a chamber under Sailance O_o
I don't quite remember if you explained why The Effect is there, or how it came into existence, but I'm trying to figure it out. O_o
Then again, this is just one of my crazy theories…

I'm really impressed with the way you handled the Clone plothole! It's definitely valid, and pretty dang original (though that might be because I've only seen like two hypno-villains).
