Bahaha, it's not quite April Fool's over here yet, so I was confused for a moment.

This is the best. So convincing, too. I actually believed it until Taylor showed up… o_o

“Can’t you see he’s no more dead than you are?” said May annoyed as they sat down
“I… I’m not dead,” Alan said confusedly.

Chapter: Chapter 28: Scyther's Revenge
Skil ekki fyrstu setninguna.
Það væri raunverulegra ef Mark krypi hjá hinum særða og reyndi að stöðva blæðinguna. Svo væri líka betra að hafa skýringu á því af hverju Mark finnst ómögulegt að segja sannleikann við May og Alan, við sjúkraflutningamenn, lögreglu. Vill hann vernda Scyther? Kannski augljóst, en mætti samt rekja hugsanirnar sem fljúga um hug Marks, þegar hann veltir fyrir sér möguleikunum.Reply: Fyrsta setningin er "Author's note", innskot um það að ég fékk að láni hugmyndir annarrar manneskju, Iveechan, um það hvernig Hitmonchan lítur út án hanskanna og búningsins sem hann er alltaf sýndur í.

Oh, my God.
Taylor doesn't deserve a point of view. Please don't write him into the next chapter. ;-;

Absolutely amazing chapter, like the rest. I love the item descriptions, since they really seem to add more to the intensity of the battle. It was good to see Mutark battle too. I did find one problem though; Blaziken can't actually learn Mach Punch in the games.Reply: …huh, it can't? Damn it, I could have sworn it could. <_< Ugh, another thing to try to replace.

Tyranitar SPEAKS<333
There is a whole lot of depth and scattered cliffhangers around, and the battles were clever, amazing, and simply unpredictable.
I do have a few questions. Entei refered to Mew as female in the previous chapter, and Chaletwo called Mew male in this chapter. Since Mew /technically/ is neither, does it matter which gender they call Mew?
And do you actually say Mewtwo^2 "Mewtwo two" or "Mewtwo squared?"Reply: The Mew thing was actually briefly addressed in chapter 51. All legendaries are physically genderless, but some have a grammatical preference for one pronoun (such as Chaletwo preferring 'he'). Meanwhile, others, such as Mew, have no preference, and therefore the pronoun used will depend on the speaker. Chaletwo has a marked tendency to use 'he' for pretty much everyone not with an explicit preference for 'she', so he's been using that for Mew and Mark has sort of followed suit in that. Entei, meanwhile, uses 'she' for Mew, and that's equally correct. It only matters in the sense that you could start to analyze the characters and why they would think of Mew as one gender or the other if you wanted, but yeah, both are equally correct.
I just answered the Mewtwo^2 question in the Ask the Author thread at the forums, so look there.

Taylor's a cheat, end of story, he completely ignored the rules of the type chart.Reply: :P It's not so much ignoring them completely as simply that Mewtwo^2 is a gamebreaker. The rest of his Pokémon followed it just fine, though they could nonetheless withstand ridiculous amounts of super-effective attacks.

Wow, Taylor is a brat. He's worse than Bryce (a boy from my school).
I would be kind of secretly glad if Mewtwo^2 started resisting the Clone Ball again and murdered him.
Also, holy carp, Tyranitar talks! :O Maybe he's just stupid. I mean… um… linguistically challenged.

uh, just thought ide let you know: on chapter 12 of the ILCOE QuestForTheLegends there is a mistake:
He roared in pain; Mark knew that only one of them had actually stricken, but it had stricken hard.
It should be Mark knew that only one of them had actually STRUCK, but it had STRUCK hard.
Just change stricken to struck. Keep on writing QFTL, i love it.
PJ =)Reply: Stricken is actually a valid form as well, but I agree it sounds odd here, now I've developed a bit more of a sense for the language than when I wrote that; it's usually used for less literal senses of "strike".

Athygli vert að Mitch skuli líka vera dáinn. Af hverju reis hann upp frá dauðum?
Það er tvennt sem mér finnst óraunhæft: Það virðist enginn hafa syrgt Mark, og þó fólk sé hissa að sjá hann, þá er það ekkert sérlega glatt. Ímyndaðu þér ef góður félagi þinn dæi vofeiflega, hvað þú yrðir glöð að sjá hann aftur á lífi. Skert minni getur ekki skýrt þetta, því þau geta rifjað upp minninguna á nokkrum sekúndum, samt verða þau ekkert ofboðslega glöð.
Annað: Að Ash sé of upptekinn til að bjarga heiminum.

Well…
Pokemonish
Pokemonology
i think you should just call it
languages
biologyReply: Well, "Languages" would imply something a lot more general than one specific language, wouldn't it? And since they're not actually learning about the biology of Pokémon in that class, calling it biology wouldn't be accurate either. I did change the classes to "Pokémon speech" and "Battling" in the revision, but yeah.
