It took a bit longer than the optimistic estimates of the last entry, but it's here.

The Ouen League - Chapter 49: The Rage of a Scyther

The title is awkward and the battle is not as interesting as the previous ones, but I actually thought overall it came out surprisingly well. Not that I'm to be trusted on that.

I am very impressed! One of your best chapters, in my honest opinion. You're right, the battle wasn't as interesting as the last couple… but I felt the battle wasn't really the main focus of the chapter. Anyway, keep up the good work Butterfree!!

Btw… I just noticed the comment thingie at the bottom of the chapter…. now i feel very inobservant and stupid for giving my opinion on the other chapters (spoilers and all) in the blog comment entries =(

Wow, that battle was riveting <3 love it! Btw, how far away is the end of the world? Cause it seems a bit strange that they have time to train their Pokemon and compete in the league while at the same time rescue the world O_o probably just me, though xD

They talked about this in chapter… forty, was it? Mark was thinking about not participating in the League, but Chaletwo worried that their Pokémon weren't strong enough to fight things like many legendaries at once so the League might be good training in the end, and they don't have any leads on the location of the rest of the legendaries anyway, making the rest of their quest pretty much just aimless wandering in the hope of stumbling upon them at some point. There is also the arrangement with Alan: he is doing the aimless wandering for them for now, and Chaletwo will take them to him if he does find any legendaries (besides Rainteicune) along the way.

Awsome, I think something like 'the raging Scyther' or something like that would have been a better title, but that's just me, anyways, that last chapter explaines alot.

Please check out my Fan Fics (They're in this forum).

I'm not always rational, but I think people think I am.

… errazib nialp tsuj era serutangis emos ,wonk ouy.

Buisle is the ruler of the seven seas of sand, it is the terror of all Floatzel!

Man, I wrote Fics of three different Pokemon story types! What's next?! A wild Pokemon fic?! Hmmmmm…

Yes, he did.

(It's not as if both chapter 48 and 49 have been discussing at length how that did not mean he couldn't qualify or anything.)

Huh? No, she said he officially won his latter preliminary 2-0, as in that he had two Pokémon left when he won. She said nothing about the first battle.

Intense battle…If I were Mark, I'd teach Sandslash Stone Edge.

Still waiting desperately for the next chapter.

Ah, that makes more sense ;) this has probably been said by Pokemon fans since the dawn of time, but I wish I could be a real trainer…

Butterfree, I can't express how much I, personally apprceiate you writing this story. It's simply… magnificant. Not only is it a blast to bring, it brings back the old, nosagolic feeling of wanting to be a Pokemon trainer for real. which is hard to do. So, uh, thank you.
