May: Not very interesting ones. She has Crunch, Slash, Night Slash, Glare and so on. Mutark's niche is to become powerful enough to beat the opponent without having the best of moves.

Ash: Oh, no.

Mark: Huh?

Scyther: …favorite color? Why have a preference about colors? They're just convenient ways to distinguish objects.

Mutark: Blood tastes nice…

Dragonite pretty much answered this here.

Mitch: *smiles* I wouldn't know. I haven't tried.

Mutark: Mewwww? *looks cutely at you*

Taylor: Mewtwo^2 is too powerful to let Dark-types get in its way.

Mew: …fictional?

Scorplack: We sense heat.

Mitch: I doubt it. I don't feel immortal, at the very least.

Mutark: *tilts head confuzzledly*

Mew: As far as I know, I exist.

Scorplack: It would be blinding.

Mew: You could just as well be fictional as I. I do not see the use in this conversation.

Mutark: Meww?

Mew: No, but it was what they asked about.

Mutark: *bats at them*

Meh, I guess you can ask Entei anyway. :/ He does have an established character and is not really keeping any more secrets you shouldn't know.

Scyther to Kitsune: I can't really hug anyone, sorry.

May to Kitsune: *rolls eyes*

May to Eloi: That's stupid. You can't just group people into predefined personality types like that. I'm me, not some "trope".

Mark to Eloi: Um, I guess she can be kind of like a Tsundere without the "dere" part? Sometimes she's a Jerkass, but other times she's all right, depending on her general mood at the moment. She's been getting better that way recently, too.

Leah to steele: Right now, my team consists of Tiberius the Venusaur, Webster the Ariados, Felix the Alakazam, Willow the Arcanine, Manos the Tentacruel and Sheena the Weavile.

Mutark: *sniffs suspiciously*

Mark to Kitsune: Well, I don't think Pokémon training is really my thing. It was something I wanted to do because everybody did it, but now that I've actually tried it… I just don't really like battling or catching Pokémon or traveling much.

Scyther to Kitsune: We don't hug. Generally we're not very keen on physical contact outside of mating and dueling.

Mrs. Grodski to Kitsune: There were many students like him, but of course, most of them left on their doomed Pokémon journeys, while he just remained behind and got even more obnoxious. He wasn't the worst, no, but he was the only one left, which made him especially grating.

Mutark to Kitsune: *jumps after and bats at*

Mrs. Grodski to Scyther: Hmph. What are you playing at, boy?

May: *unimpressed*

Mutark: *wails unhappily*

Suicune: They have no responsibility. We simply expect them to stay alive with the gems unharmed until the War is over, and to ensure that, we had to select those that made the best use of their power and showed the skills to survive.

Mutark: *bats*

Charizard: *looking conspicuously away*

Suicune: We did not know about the War of the Legends at the time Chaletwo approached us. And in any case I still doubt his plan will work. Even in the unlikely case he manages to capture all of the legendaries - and without all of them, it's all for nothing - what happens to the Destroyer's energy? It is much safer to do it our way.

Do you think I like starving my subjects? No; I felt every shred of pain I put him through. But it was necessary, and instead, I gave him incredible power. If I do not live, I cannot guard the Water Pokémon in the future. It is good in their long-term interests.

Yes, they would harm each other. Even wild Mutark living together in colonies do.

Only the Mutark's own blood will do.

Let's just say the Destroyer will not be pulled out of nowhere.

Can Mutark actually talk, or just make incomprehensible mewing sounds?
See, when it's in its default form, it's always keeping up this babyish facade, so it doesn't speak. If you got it in a later form, I suppose you could get it to speak intelligently, but it would probably be preoccupied with the battle at that point…

Yeah, the game would probably have an internal list of moves that draw blood which would activate its ability (otherwise, more crudely, it could use the list it already has for moves that make contact, which wouldn't always fit perfectly but would somewhat work), and that would raise its stats. My current idea of it has its stats all rising by one level, but to make up for it it would be very weak in its initial form, with everything maybe base 50 or thereabouts.

It's not annoying if you post your thoughts on questions others ask, especially when it's something that's been answered before - you're just saving me the trouble of pointing it out or repeating myself.

I have an older brother; he's 22 now.

Mewtwo still exists. In chapter 25, Chaletwo explained why Mewtwo's body was there in the prologue, namely that he was taken back in time, but where the fic is now, this has not yet happened. It's 27 years after the beginning of the anime.

Mutark will shift back into its first form when the battle is over. If it's returned to its Pokéball, it'll go back when it's sent out again and the battle is no longer going on.

Boy, I really need to catch up with these questions.

Mark: What Pokemon do you plan on catching once you arrive at the Ouen Safari?

May: Same.
Mark: I don't really know. Something good against the remaining legendaries, I suppose.

May: I… don't know.

Mark: If you could be any Pokemon, what Pokemon would you be?

May: Same.

Alan: Same.
Mark: If I had to choose? Uh, I don't know. I think I like being human. Maybe a bird Pokémon. I like them.

May: …a Psychic-type, I guess. Telepathy and teleportation would be useful.

Alan: Some Flying-type. I'd love to be able to fly on my own wings.

Mewtwo(squared): So, what's been going on with you since Taylor died? Has Rick taken you back? Does he use you? Were you released, instead? Also, similarly, how do you feel about Taylor's death?
Mewtwo^2: …

(If you just want to know, Rick has taken him back and he was not released, but he is not being used either because by now he's way too high-leveled for a first Gym of the region. And Mewtwo^2 is a bit too mind-controlled to have much in the way of opinions on Taylor's death.)

Charlie: How do you feel about the evolution/devolution?

Alan: How do you feel about Charlie's evolution/devolution?
Charlie: I'm pretty neutral about it. It can be convenient, but I don't really like to flaunt it.

Alan: It doesn't really matter to me what his physical form is, so long as he is himself.

chaletwo: how do you exactly know that you're in a fan-fic and if you know, how come mew doesn't?
Because his eyes see through the fourth wall. Look, these sorts of questions are just annoying. He nominally knows he's in a fic for convenience so that some character will be able to make fourth-wall-breaking comments in this thread. That does not mean it's some interesting canonical property of his you ought to be scrutinizing.

Mark: what would you have preffered eevee to evolve into if he didnt evolve into jolteon?
Mark: I don't know. Whatever he wanted, really.

mew: if you used future sight to see what would happen when the war would start, what do you see?
This question is nonsensical; Future Sight does not work that way.

mewtark: ~ gives bowl of milk and bowl of blood ~ what do you prefer?
Mutark: *sniffs at the milk, then eagerly goes for the blood*

may: what do you hope to replace tyranitar with?
May: I don't know, okay? Stop asking me that.

Tyranitar: ~Gives may doll~ how do you feel? ~gets female tyranitar and uses attract~ hmm?
Tyranitar: *growls suspiciously*

mark (again): do you plan on visiting the other regions just as a travvaler?
Mark: Sure, sometime when this is all over.

Rob: Have you found a pokemon to replace Scyther?
Rob: That's none of your business.

Leah: I know a guy you can call for help with Mew.
Leah: Really, who?

(No, you can't actually tell her. See the rule in the first post of the thread about not giving the characters important information they don't know in-story.)

Mark: Just a thought, but if you never formally released Mew, won't that make it impossible for anyone else to capture it? Since it's already 'marked' by a Pokéball.
Again, no giving characters important information they don't actually know in the story (or, in this case, make them think about information they haven't actually thought about). This is intentional.

Ignore the nature bit in chapter five. It makes no sense and is just another one of those goofs.

@the ditto(the one Mark battled)
how does transforming work and did it hurt as much as it would for the "real" thing when you were charizard and your tail flame got wet? oh and if you transformed into eevee would another eevees attract "make" you "love" it?
Aaron's Ditto: You just… transform. It's easy. The body transforms completely, so what's painful to them will be equally painful to me while transformed. It doesn't affect the mind, though.

@chaletwo then…how does it feel to know your not real?lol(well hey he SAID it himself;he knows)
See this answer.

Sparky + Mitch: why cant yanmega use fly when it can pick people up and possibly eat their heads off?
Sparky: I'd wager it would just have a hard time carrying a human over long distances. You can't overwork the poor thing.

Mitch: I don't think it can pick people up at all, to be honest.

mewtark: have you ever tried blood sausage or blood pudding or shepards pie?
Mutark: *blinks in puzzlement*

Mark: what is meat made of, miltanks, tauroses, piloswines?
Mark: Huh? I just eat animal meat.
