Hmm… Have you ever been the victim of discrimination due to your being an atheist?
(Jeez, that's worded ackwardly…)
No, not really.

What made you decide to give Volcaryu to Carl?
It was just the sort of thing Carl would do, so he did it. And it offers lovely opportunity for Chaletwo to get all worried in his subtly-fatherly ways.

What are you favorite animes/mangas?
They don't show any anime over here and I've never been into either anime or manga at all; my boyfriend has showed me a couple of episodes of various anime and gotten me to read a couple of manga books, but it would be wildly irresponsible of me to start picking a favorite based on that. Quite literally the only non-Pokémon anime I've seen any substantial number of episodes of is Neon Genesis Evangelion, which he made me watch in its entirety. Even so, I never got that much into it, really (maybe I just need to watch it again to properly get what the hell is going on). So I'm… eh, not really qualified to answer this question.

Do you watch subbed anime, or other TV programs, exluding Pokémon?
As I said, my boyfriend likes to show me things he likes, but I rarely see more than a few episodes of whatever he's most obsessed with at any given moment.

Do you like dubbed anime in general?
Judging from Evangelion and Pokémon, I tend not to be too fond of English dub voice acting, but again, not really qualified to answer. Actually I think they are quite literally the only dubbed anime I have ever seen.

Have you always been a perfectionist?
Pretty much.

Do you think Ash's Chimchar will evolve?
I have not seen a single episode of D/P and exactly one post-Kanto episode. I'm really not qualified to answer that question. Hell, I didn't even know his Chimchar hadn't evolved yet.

Do you like exploiting glitches in Video Games?
Trying them is often fun if they have interesting or bizarre effects. Actually exploiting them tends to take the fun out of it.

How much, on a regular day, TV do you watch?
About six minutes average. This would be because I watch a 45-minute episode of Lost once a week. :P Well, okay, my boyfriend downloads House and I watch that with him, but that's on his computer so it's not technically TV.

Are you fluent in any languages other than English and Icelandic?
No, but I speak a little bit of Danish and German and a very, very tiny bit of Japanese.

I just thought of something… What were the Ouen Route numbers in the original? Was the change the the 300's the first numbering change?
I didn't actually make an Ouen map or start mentioning route numbers until after R/S were out, so I first started it with the 200s. I wouldn't have mentioned them at all if Hoenn hadn't given a very convenient reason to believe that we knew how region routes would be numbered in the future, unlike what happened when G/S/C were out.

Do you participate in online text-based RPGs?
No. I never really got into it.

Do you, personally, play ROMs on emulators? What about ROM hacks?
Occasionally, when it's a game I can't seem to get my hands on otherwise or if I need to get screenshots. Hacks, never actually played one although I wouldn't have anything against it if there were one that I was very interested in.

Are you a huge fan of other fics? Any in particular you'd want to list?
I don't read a lot of fics, but some of my very favorites are:

- The Ties that Bind by Saffire Persian, a really sad one-shot that manages to make me cry every time I read it.
- Me and My Flame, a 53-chapter completed epic about wild Charizard, a snarky Vulpix/Ninetales and oh-so-much more.
- Tangled Web, an eight-chapter beginning of a trainer fic that in this space managed to be made of pure, unadulterated awesome thanks to the author's BEST WRITING STYLE EVER and the original plot. Can only be found on TPM now.
- The Last of Its Kind, a horror one-shot by the same author.

I am also currently following elyvorg's fic, Lost Evolution, which is pretty awesome as well.

I don't give them personalities or think of them as characters, but I'm extremely attached to them. You could say they're kind of like pets: they exist on their own as mute, nonhuman creatures that I love because I've been with them so long. The most emotional loss of my life (no friends or relatives that I knew well have died within my lifetime) was when my Yellow version save file, and thus my Pokémon, were deleted, but I don't do anything with them outside of playing the game.

And no, writing this fic has not changed the way I view my Pokémon.

Theoretically, yes, but I'm probably too lazy to ever actually do it.

I have a different team on each of my Pokémon games, and after finishing the game, I generally start training up more Pokémon that I like (either aesthetically or just because I enjoy using them). Right now my Diamond "team" rotates between Infernape, Staraptor, Luxray, Roserade, Gastrodon, Scyther, Butterfree, Jolteon, Leafeon, Espeon, Charizard and Lucario, though I possibly forgot one.

I already have plans for Raikou's Chosen if I happen to reconsider the choice of making him not have one in the IALCOTN.

And it's been so long since I was playing Colosseum that I can't really remember how I dealt with Entei, but remember that you'll get more chances at it if it's hard to catch it now. :/

I have no idea about cheating devices; I have never so much as been in the same room as one.

And please don't post twice in a row if you forgot to mention something; use the Edit link in the top right corner of your post.

Anyway, Butterfree, I'm having some technical difficulties with the guestbook on the main page. When I click inside the text boxes the insertion point doesn't appear, nor can I type anything in it. My keyboard (apparently) works just fine, and I've never had a problem like this before. I'm not sure if its by browser (Firefox version 3.0.8)or not, can you tell me what's the problem?
Huh. That's funny; it works fine for me and seemingly everybody else. No idea what's up with it.

No offense, Butterfree, but can't you just deposit half the money and items you have every time you get through a dungeon into storage to escape that vicious cycle?
Well, Oran Berries aren't much use if you don't have them with you, are they? The point is that when I was getting into vicious cycles, I didn't have any Oran Berries I could go splitting in half - I had one or two at the most, which I needed to have with me in order to have any hope of getting through the boss at the end of the dungeon. :/

That it probably is (the ad showed a gold ball and a silver ball, for Christ's sake; if it's not, they're deliberately toying with us). There's not much else to say about it, really, until we know more.

If the aforementioned game is released as a GSC remake would you get it and for what reason(s)?
Yes, because I get all the main series games. Or rather, I get one of each simultaneously released pair and one of each third version. I am enough of a Pokémon fan to know I will thoroughly enjoy it.

And yes, Chalenor is dead.

Silly names, but at least they're better than "DuskGold" and "DawnSilver".

It would be pretty awesome. :P I've kind of wanted to make one myself (though not word-for-word; just with the legendary plot, Ouen, Thunderyu/Volcaryu/Polaryu, starting in Sailance, etc.), but the last time I tried I gave up when the title screen of the American FireRed refused to modify itself. (I could do it with the Japanese one, damn it!)

How long, for a Pokemon fanfiction, do you think the avarage chapter should be?
Uhh, I'm really not the right person to ask about anything having to do with "average chapters"; I'm the person whose chapters vary between three pages and twenty-seven based on what is happening. Generally, a chapter should feel something like an episode of a TV show: it should have a storyline and structure in itself. Something of note needs to happen in the chapter and it needs to close off reasonably after that.

Hmmmnn, what would you think if I told you tat you are my my role model? I ask you for a lot of advice, even though you may not really notice it…(God, that was embarrsing. I don't know why, though.)
Uh… o.O Okay? I'm probably not an exemplary role model, but do what you want.

What are your faverite video games, outside of Pokemon?
StarCraft (though I'm ashamed to say I've never actually finished it), the Ace Attorney series, and the Heroes of Might and Magic series.

Do I ever remind you of anyone you know?
No.

Is there a way to find the secret ID on the game?
Not really; the only way I can imagine it being possible is if you have a shiny and somehow find out its personality value and thus figure out your secret ID from that somehow.

Oh, and where would I learn how to make a forumy code such as this?
"A forumy code"? You mean to code your own forum? Uh, you could just check out tutorials for a scripting language of your choice and MySQL.

And did you know that it is easy to get to the in-progress movie reviews with simple URL manipulation?
OMG NO HOW CAN THAT BE??? :oooo

Yes, that's rather obvious. Not that it will actually help you most of the time, since the files on the server won't actually be updated unless I happen to be updating the site for other reasons. It's not like the movie reviews are a secret. o_O

Hmm, it's been a while since I fired up the game (I don't want to be bored with it by the time the English version comes out). Um, Feraligatr, Pidgeot, Butterfree, Growlithe (still haven't managed to get my hands on a Fire Stone), Ampharos, Haunter. I think.

Are you ever going to do a page an Battle Revolution?
Doubt it; I don't actually have ready access to the game, since I don't have a Wii, and I'm not interested enough to go out of my way to play it just for the sake of having a section about it.

Yeah, I should make a new poll. I'll try to think of something when I get home.

They're completely, utterly different blades on their heads, though, both in concept and execution. :/

My shinies are Neil the Rattata and Shining the Gengar on FireRed and Sheen the Noctowl on Diamond. I don't battle competitively, no; I went on NetBattle a few times back in the day, but was never more than just that silly little noob everyone beat.

Oh, Danish is mandatory in Icelandic schools. We all speak it… a little bit. And mostly despise it with a passion. :P

I was first introduced to Pokémon by my cousins in 2000. They got me to play Yellow, I fell in love with the monsters and the battle system almost immediately, and I asked for it for Christmas. The rest is history.

Iceland is much too small for anyone to bother to host real-life events here. Wi-Fi events, however, can be accessed from Iceland just as from anywhere else.

Just on the topic of berries, do you use the berry system in the Pokemon games?
Not if I can avoid it. :/ I just find them kind of tedious to grow and always forget to check them when I do.

Is there any particular method you use to remember your dreams? It kind of saddens me that I'm missing 1/3 of my life.
No. You generally only remember dreams if you wake up during them, and how likely that is to happen depends on how you're sleeping, how long you sleep, and dozens of other factors. Usually I have stretches of not really remembering any dreams and then there come stretches (like now) where I remember practically everything. It just varies.

Have you ever gotten so mad at a book/game that you've thrown it across the room yelling the F-word? (Or whatever Icelandic swear word) Or do I just have anger issues? (I rarely throw anything across the room but a helluva lotta F-words fly around when I'm chaining.)
No, not really. I don't get seriously angry a lot, and I am incredibly fond of my material possessions, so even when I get angry, I wouldn't dream of hurling anything across the room where it could get damaged.
