Mark: They'll do what they want, I guess. I mean, I can't decide for them what they want to do with the rest of their lives.

Jolteon: I've been trying to help her cope since she was caught, but recently she's been kind of distant. I suppose we never got that close, since she's never talked much, but I still kind of miss it.

Mew: We shall see where I find myself during the League.

Rattata: Which Charmander? A lot of them come through, a lot of them fight me, all of them the same.

I did not know that I had any part in inspiring Lost Evolution. Or if I did, I'd forgotten. o.o

In a vague attempt to be on-topic: The Ash Ketchum-wannabe that May talked about earlier in the Ask The Characters thread - would that happen to be that overexcited kid who got the Pichu from the starter giveaway?
Yes, that would be him. :P

Overenthusiastic Pichu kid: Of course! We can beat anyone!

Mark's parents don't technically know he's in the League. Molzapart's memory-messing makes them mentally explain his absence from their house with, 'Oh, he's out on his Pokémon journey,' but not think about it hard enough to realize things like, 'Oh, he's in the League right now; we can see him on TV!'

Pichu kid: That girl makes all her Pokémon evolve and keeps switching them out while I treat them with love and kindness and trust them to win! I know I'm the better trainer. It's not about who wins or loses. It's about loving and respecting your Pokémon!

Pikachu: Nah, not really. He's a nice kid and usually we don't even do that badly - we did get all the badges, after all. He just doesn't really belong in a place like the League, where you have to switch all the time, all the Pokémon are evolved and the trainers choose their teams to counter what their opponent has.

We'll just move on to another region and have more adventures there, I guess.

Random Scyther: I think I heard about that happening many years ago, but I've never seen it.

Pichu kid: Sure! Well, I don't really know, since I lost both my preliminary matches, but either way we did our best and will be happy with the outcome.

Razor: In my Pokéball at the moment.

Overenthusiastic Pichu kid: Of course I am! I have great friends and my Pokémon do their best!

May: Not really. He just doesn't like to talk.

You're not asking about anything; you're trying to make them participate in a joke so that they will ask a question. Either they play along, in which case the answer is predetermined and there is no need for me to waste my time typing it up, or they don't, in which case it would just be a reaction. You're not asking anything that allows them to properly answer it in character.

Michael's Flareon: I couldn't believe it… I'm still wondering why he did it. But it was impossible to change his mind. He really seemed to have come to hate being a trainer after the Ouen League.

Nightmare: How do you think it feels?

Stormblade was asked practically this exact same question a couple of pages back.

Gyarados: I don't know. I'd like to live in the sea, far away. But I don't know what will await me there.

Monarking: You could say that, in a way.

Mitch: It's not visions or seeing - that would imply there are images. It is more akin to simply knowing, or having a very powerful hunch.

Ouch, I've been neglecting this thread lately.

Razor to InnerDemon: Challenging Nightmare to that duel. It's what started the entire ordeal.

Nurse Joy to InnerDemon: *smiles* I had a Treecko as my starter, a Wingull, a Teddiursa, a Geodude, a Leta and a Numel as my main team - as time went by, they eventually evolved, of course. And battling first while he watched, yes, he would do that. Always under the pretense of being a gentleman, of course. The sneaky bastard.

Sparky to yllfll: She had ovarian cancer.

Sparky to elyvorg: Oh, I haven't given it much thought why I am the way I am. I do like your theory. 83

Alan to steele: Er, well, she's… twelve. o_O It would be weird.

Mark to steele: *freaked-out expression*

May to steele: Oh, sod off with the romance questions. I have better things to do than think about boys in the middle of the League. Besides, Mark is a wimpy plush toy and Alan is a preachy goody-two-shoes.

Raitwo to SandStormBuisle: He's Master.

Mewtwo^2 to SandStormBuisle: …

Funny things, those Clone Balls.

May: *raises eyebrow*

Pichu kid: Well, that's why I made sure to be early! If I'd still been too late, I'd have picked another starter and then caught a Pikachu somewhere.

Monarking: I do not expect a reward when I save lives.

Thunderyu is the only one of them that has referred to the others by those names, which aren't actually names so much as descriptions: you'll notice they weren't capitalized when Thunderyu used them. The point is they don't know one another's names, but have mental images of the others. If the others were to label Thunderyu in a similar way, it might be "the yellow one" or "the golden one" or "the one with the gems", but likewise, there is nothing to say that Volcaryu and Polaryu just are the fiery one and the icy one; they could just as well be the red one and the blue one, or the dark one and the white one, or the one with the plates and the one with the crystals.

In Thunderyu's head he's just "me". He has a mental image of himself like everyone else, but still wouldn't think of himself internally as anything other than just "me".

Monarking to SilverLatios47: I have a purpose out here. If I were captured, I could not serve it.

May: Feh, critical hits. It would be neat, but it's sort of cheap and luck-based. Not my thing.

May: Um, what the hell? No.

Christopher: Scizor is doing fine. He's had worse than losing a wing.

Christopher's Scizor: I feel fine and my wing is back.

Robert Witham: It's a disgrace. That's all I can say. I'm done working for the League.

Chaletwo: The others need to eat, yes, but not Mew and I.

To your knowlege indeed. We actually have a forum topic hidden from you titled 'Ways to piss Butterfree off'. Long signatures is popular.
…uh, no, you don't? o_O This is probably a joke of some sort, but if it is, I don't get it.

Is it difficult, trying to write a nice fic, but to be thwarted by hordes of immature kids on your forum?
Not really "difficult". Occasionally irritating.

Oh, and is Monarking going to make another appearance? I thought it was pretty cool…
No.

Why would something have to replace it? There was absolutely no need for having that scene there in the first place. The only reason I put it there was to put Monarking in.

Floatzel: I know how to be myself. If I were another Pokémon, I would have to learn to be them, but then that would be myself. It doesn't matter which one it is, hm?

Chaletwo: Not the same way as if it were happening to myself, but I'm aware of it.

Molzapart: Well, I am, give or take Chaletwo. There's no reason that shouldn't be recognized.

Old lady: What? You'll have to speak up, dear. My hearing isn't what it used to be.

Mark: Um, well, I don't really care about being better than Ash or something, so I'd definitely rather ride a Lugia.

Old lady: What? Which year was this?
